RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Nate Bump.

2006

Bump has a decent arsenal, but has never been anything more than roster filler in the majors. Given Florida's losses on defense, he could struggle to be even that in 2006.

2005

Bump staggered through a bad 2004, and has lodged himself firmly in the ranks of generic journeyman relievers.

2004

Put together a decent run in July, but it was otherwise a fairly forgettable year for Bump, who walked more batters than he struck out in 2003. He shouldn't expect a full season stay in the majors.

2003

Bump will be 27 next year, which makes his 81:29 K:BB ratio in Double-A that much less impressive. He might work his way into somebody's bullpen someday.
