2005
Menechino played well for Toronto following a trade from Oakland and is the type of bench player that Toronto management appreciates. He'll be nothing more than a reserve with Toronto, however.
2004
Menechino is nothing more than an occasional pinch-hitter and pinch-runner when the A's need a baserunner. Depending on how the Esteban German/Mark Ellis/Bobby Crosby/Miguel Tejada shuffle plays out, he could find himself with an even smaller role.
2003
Fell victim to the Great Roster Purge of 2002 back in May and didn't resurface until September. Days of landing a full-time gig are over unless he finds his patience/power game again.
