2013
There was no outlook written for Jim Brower.
2006
Brower is unlikely to win a high-profile job in a major league bullpen out of spring training after a season that saw him struggle with the Giants and Braves. Brower actually increased his strikeout rate, but posted 5.00+ ERAs with two teams. He's always walked a few more batters than we'd like to see in a reliever, so there's little reason to take a chance on him if doesn't win a significant role.
2005
Brower led the Giants in relief appearances last season, but suffered elbow irritation in October. He'll be a decent source for ERA help if your roster includes slots for relievers, but won't get you more than a handful of wins or saves.
2004
Brower threw more ground balls than he ever had before, and not coincidentally, posted the lowest ERA of his career. More valuable in real life than in fantasy because he starts and relieves with equal aplomb, but doesn't garner much in the way of wins or saves. You can safely ignore him in the draft.
2003
Brower pitched better before the trade to Montreal, but not so much better that you have to wonder what happened. He'll be a moderately useful bullpen arm, if that's your sort of thing.
