There was no outlook written for Shane Loux.
2009
Loux saw his first big league action since 2004 when he was called up in August, but spent most of the season with Triple-A Salt Lake, where he went 12-6 in only 22 starts. He posted a 3.98 ERA and struck out 77 batters over 138 innings. Loux is obviously not a power pitcher and will have trouble consistently getting batters out in the big leagues. Expect Loux to begin next season with Salt Lake.
2004
Loux was a late-season call up and did nothing to show that he should be in the major leagues. Stay away.
2003
After a forgettable year at Triple-A (4.72 ERA, mediocre peripherals), Loux, 23, was pounded in three starts with the Tigers in September. We can't see any reason to recommend a buy here.
