2013

There was no outlook written for Chad Paronto.

2008

Despite some decent numbers, Paronto was sent to Triple-A in August last season and then later let go by Atlanta. He'll try to work his way back into the majors based on his 3.57 ERA in the majors last season. We're not entirely sold on him, since he had just a 14:19 K:BB ratio and doesn't feature outstanding stuff, but Houston saw enough in him to offer a one-year deal in December.

2007

Paronto was about the only pleasant surprise in the Atlanta bullpen last season. His 41:19 K:BB ratio in 57.2 innings isn't overly impressive, but it should help the journeyman find a steady job in a major league bullpen next season. Given his spotty career track record and age (31), he's not a good bet to repeat last year's success.

2003

If Paronto can overcome elbow woes, he could be serviceable in the Indians' pen.
