RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Brad Voyles.

2004

If Voyles felt mistreated in 2003, few could blame him. He bounced from Kansas City to Omaha four times and was converted from a minor-league closer to a starter. His Triple-A numbers were decent, showing a much better command of his pitches. He should be in the mix in Kansas City in 2004. It's not certain whether it will be as a starter or reliever.

2003

Another live right-hander for the Royals with a nice fastball. What sets Voyles apart from Jeremy Hill and Ryan Bukvich is his strong breaking ball. If he can gain control of the strike zone, he will quickly move ahead in the race for the closer job.
