2005
Miller was signed in the offseason to get the Twins organization some depth at catcher, particularly with Joe Mauer's knee problems. If he wins any kind of role in the majors, he hasn't shown that his bat can help fantasy owners. He'll likely spend most of the season at Triple-A Rochester.
2004
With the trade of Kelly Stinnett, Miller enters the 2004 season as the clear backup to Jason LaRue. Manager Dave Miley is well-familiar with Miller's abilities, having managed him the last two seasons at Triple-A Louisville.
2003
Miller's defense and solid secondary batting skills might give him a greater opportunity for playing time in 2003. Miller faces a roster crunch, being behind Jason LaRue and Kelly Stinnett on the depth chart, but these things have a way of working themselves out.
