Thurman spent much of the year at Triple-A, which is where he would have been the year before if he weren't a Rule 5 snag. He posted good peripherals there (72:26 K:BB ratio), and refused his assignment to the minors following the season. He's a free agent now who will need to beg for work, but there's some upside here for a guy with low mileage on his arm and is just 25-years old.
