2006
After a poor 2005 season, he'll try to win a set-up job in the bullpen. We've never liked his poor K/BB ratio, so we're not high on his chances even in Washington's pitcher-friendly environment.
2005
Gryboski recovered from a partially torn labrum in late 2003 through rehab, avoiding surgery. Although he had a strong ERA in 2004, don't expect a repeat given his poor K/BB ratio and frequent injuries (he had elbow trouble in 2002 as well). With few relief wins or saves, he's one of the few Atlanta relievers we would avoid.
2004
Gryboski was one of the few consistent performers in the Atlanta bullpen, before he suffered a partially torn labrum in late August. Given his high walk totals and frequent injuries (elbow trouble in 2002), he may be too risky since he offers few relief wins or saves.
2003
Gryboski performed well in his first full season working out of the Braves bullpen, but then fell victim to a elbow injury. After the injury he posted a 7.56 ERA and walked more batters than he struck out. If he's healthy this spring he could be a middle reliever that could help your team.
