2007
Foster missed the 2006 season following Tommy John surgery on his left elbow. He'll likely miss most of next season as well.
2006
Foster was used as a lefty specialist for the Braves last year before hurting his elbow late in the season. Foster did strike out nearly a batter per inning, but he'll have a hard time winning anything but a lefty specialist role again this season.
2004
Foster is a lefty middle reliever who may get called up at some point in 2004. He pitched 20 innings for the Brewers in 2003 with a 4.05 ERA.
2003
Foster struggled in his first trip to the majors and then had problems with his control in Triple-A. A strong spring or first half at Triple-A could put him back in the Milwaukee bullpen.
