2013
There was no outlook written for Scott Munter.
2008
Munter's once successful sinker has gone M.I.A., as he's posted an awful 22:34 K:BB ratio over the past three seasons. He spent much of last year in the minors, and it'd take drastic improvement for it to not happen again in 2008. He became a free agent after the Giants chose not to tender him a contract in December.
2007
Munter entered last season as one of the key cogs in San Francisco's bullpen, but the plus sinker that allowed him to succeed in 2005 suddenly lost its bite and he spent most of the year at Double-A Connecticut. Since he sports an 18:30 K:BB over the last two seasons, he's unlikely to be much of an asset this year and has very little upside.
2006
Awful peripherals make it easy to dismiss Munter, but he does get a lot of ground balls, and could have an accidental Dan Kolb season or two in front of the right defense. The 2006 Giants will not be that defense.
2005
Will start the 2005 season in the minors.
