T.J. Bohn

The Braves claimed Bohn off waivers from the Mariners and he'll likely add Triple-A depth. He's an excellent fielder with a strong arm and good range, but he needs to develop his bat. He hit .283/.345/.413 with 15 steals for Triple-A Tacoma last season before a September promotion that got him 14 at-bats (two hits, including a homer).

A 30th-round draft pick in 2002, Bohn took a significant jump up the organizational depth chart last season as his bat finally caught up to his glove. At Double-A San Antonio last season, Bohn went .308/.365/.468 with 44 extra-base hits and 27 steals before being promoted to Triple-A Tacoma where he hit .321 in 22 games. Bohn is a skilled center fielder with a strong arm and his defense would fit nicely in Safeco Field's roomy outfield. But Bohn remains behind a handful of outfield prospects and the best he can hope for is a late-season call-up.
