RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Tobi Stoner.

2011

Stoner had a rough season at Triple-A Buffalo with a 6-10 record, 5.97 ERA and a .317 BAA. He had a decent season last year after overcoming a labrum injury, but did little in 2010 before getting shut down in August due a strained right shoulder. There is little to make us believe he's going to have any impact on the Mets' staff.

2010

Stoner started the season a month late due to a partially torn labrum, but made up for lost time, getting promoted to Triple-A Buffalo after just seven starts. He went 7-7 for the Bisons, quite a feat given how bad the team was. He also saw a slight uptick in his K/9 and drop in HR/9 ratios, which bodes well for future success. Stoner made four appearances out of the bullpen, throwing nine innings for the Mets, and will likely open 2010 back at Buffalo, but could get a relief spot in NY with a solid spring training.
