2009
Despite 5.47 ERA at Triple-A, Ridgway struck out over a batter per inning and earned a September trip to Atlanta. He was especially tough on lefties, inducing ground balls 60 percent of the time. He'll try to win a spot in the Atlanta bullpen as a lefty specialist this spring.
2008
Despite those ugly numbers in a brief September trial with Tampa Bay, Ridgway, who pitched well at Triple-A Durham, will get a chance to crack the Atlanta's bullpen in spring training as a lefty specialist after coming over during the winter in a trade. However, he's not anywhere near the closer-in-waiting queue.
2007
Ridgway struck out a batter an inning and held hitters to a .211 average in the minors last year. With the Devil Rays, that's more than enough to compete for a bullpen lefty role in the spring, although that's likely a role with little fantasy impact.
