RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Julio DePaula.
DePaula struggled in his first trip to the majors and at age 25 his upside seems limited, but he's a groundball pitcher with a decent enough strikeout rate. He could carve a role out in middle relief with the Twins if he wins a spot in the bullpen this spring.
DePaula was used in relief all season and his 53:33 K:BB in 82 innings between high-A and Double-A isn't overly impressive. He doesn't look like a high-upside prospect at age 24.
