2010
Hulett was traded to the Red Sox in November for future considerations after spending the majority of 2009 at Triple-A Omaha where he hit .291/.384/.473 with 11 home runs and 53 RBI in 374 at-bats. He is a super-utility player with the ability to play all infield and corner-outfield positions. He will battle for a bench spot with the Red Sox, but will probably begin 2010 at Triple-A Pawtucket.
2009
Hulett's future is, at best, limited to a backup role. He doesn't have great tools, but earns points for hustle as the endearing "scrappy" guy. He'll likely begin the season at Triple-A Tacoma.
