Signed a minor league contract with the Cardinals in April of 2012.
2009
Canham, an athletic catcher, has very good plate discipline with occasional gap power. His defense needs polishing, specifically receiving the ball. Even though Canham is 24 years old and has yet to have an at bat above Single-A, his plate discipline and overall leadership qualities will get him to the big leagues, though perhaps not until 2010.
