2010
Morales, a 2007 third-round pick, hit .266/.329/.455 with 13 home runs at Low-A Beloit last season. He has intriguing speed and power potential, but is still very raw as a player. He'll need to make better contact (104 strikeouts in 376 at bats) and improve his plate discipline to become an impact player.
2009
Morales, a 2007 third-round pick, led the Appalachian League in homers (15) and slugging percentage (.623). A classic tools player, he has plenty of speed and power, but his very high strikeout rate is a concern. He runs well and has a good glove, so the Twins will be patient with the bat.
