Bryson was promoted to Double-A Akron.
ANALYSIS
He was 2-1 with a 2.25 ERA and 38:8 K:BB ratio in 20 innings for High-A Kinston. After missing much of 2008 and 2009 after a torn labrum and rotator cuff, he's had a strong bounceback season.

2012 Fantasy Outlook
Bryson's season got off to a delayed start as a foot injury pushed him back until early June. He spent most of his time getting repeat seasons at both High-A Kinston and Double-A Akron, finishing the year with solid numbers including a combined 10.95 K/9IP between the two levels with most of his success coming at Kinston. It wasn't quite the follow-up most hoped for after a more impressive 2010 campaign, and the Indians have a number of power arms in their system along with Bryson. He'll need to hit the ground running at Double-A and Triple-A this season if he wants to stand out from the organizational competition.
