Past Fantasy Outlooks
2004
2003
McLemore is done as a Mariner and could be out of baseball. His versatility has made him valuable in the past, as he can play nearly every fielding position. He'll qualify at shortstop and third base in most leagues in 2004, and outfield in other leagues, presuming he lands a job. He didn't get as many opportunities at the plate in 2003 as he would have liked, but when he did he didn't make much of them, hitting just .233.
McLemore continues to be Mr. Versatility for the Mariners, playing all the infield positions but first and every outfield spot last year. Unfortunately, he'll only qualify as an outfielder in leagues that require 20 games played.
