Good field, no hit. Tampa Bay let Sanchez go in October and, even if he earns a regular job elsewhere, he won't have much fantasy impact.
Sanchez traditionally is a good-glove/no-bat shortstop, but he hit .294 after joining the Mariners in late July last season. He's traditionally hit much better in the AL than NL, and has signed with the Devil Rays, so keep an eye on him, if you need a potentially cheap boost in batting average. He doesn't run much any longer, so an empty high batting average is his only possible contribution.
A sore hamstring limited whatever stolen base potential that Sanchez offered last season. He's improved his hitting stroke enough to become the astute master of the empty .290 batting average.
