Almanzar's season at Triple-A Louisville in 2003 showed potential, and his 2004 season for Texas was solid. The numbers help mask a pretty mediocre 44 K in 72.7 IP, though. Some late-season forearm problems sidelined him down the stretch and his 2004 season will likely be the high point of his career. He can be a solid late-inning reliever, but take away a few of his vulture wins and you have a marginal roto pitcher.
