Interim manager Sam Perlozzo said Rafael Palmeiro -- who is 2-for-20 since returning from his 10-game suspension for steroids -- is no longer the team's everyday first baseman, the Washington Post reports. Freire got the start at first base on Monday and went 2-for-3 to raise his average to .333 on the year.
