NFL Picks: DDD Goes 14-2

NFL Picks: DDD Goes 14-2

This article is part of our NFL Picks series.

DDD went 14-2 and got back in the thick of it. Stopa went 11-5 and built his lead. Should be a good race down the stretch. My 8-8 probably cemented last place for me - can't remember if that's ever happened before. Also buying steaks in the steak league for the first time. Won't be sad to see 2010 go. Maybe I'll make ending it my new year's resolution.

Happy holidays.

EricksonEven the Redskins die like dogs - I don't like Jacksonville blowing out anyone. Meanwhile, there's a lot of self-hate among these picks. Too many favorites, and worse, too many road favorites. But that alone is not enough to change of them. Blech.
PianowskiAll season the Rams have been undervalued and the Niners overvalued. Even with the recent St. Louis slump, I love taking the Rams at home giving less than the standard three points.
LissI despise my picks this week, but differ widely from everyone else's. Don't know whether that's good or bad. Probably bad.
Stopaoe Public's reaction upon seeing the Rams and Falcons giving less than the standard three is to think the value lies with those teams. But therein lies the trap. The Saints need this game more than the Falcons, who are a bit overrated. As for the NFC West, it would seem poetic that a Niners team that's been way under .500 all season would be alive for the division crown into the final weekend... I think the Jaguars bounce back and destroy a bad Redskins run defense... The Colts aren't the same team without Austin Collie. ... The Bears are due for a letdown, as they played on Monday night, clinched their division, and face the Packers next week. The Jets need this game more. ... Remember when the Texans shut out the Titans when the Titans had a rookie QB starting? Tebow isn't good enough to exploit the Texans anemic pass defense - I see the Texans rolling... The Chiefs have nice value, as they're 6-0 at home, playing a must-win game, and laying just five against an inferior Titans squad. I believe in the Chargers, and I think they'll name their score again. That's been their M.O. - destroy the bad teams.
Del Don I'm taking way too many favorites, including ones on the road that are almost assuredly on the sucker side. After I went 14-2 last week, the smart play would be to fade me in Week 16.
