Josh Outman, P, OAK – Outman will be called up Monday to make his first major league start since 2009. Outman appeared to put things together that year, posting a 3.48 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 14 appearances, but Tommy John surgery ended his season prematurely and also cost him all of 2010. Things have not been so pretty in Triple-A, as Outman has been bothered by 27 walks in 37.2 innings, but if Outman can regain his control, he should be serviceable in deeper formats.
