Lucas Duda, OF/1B, NY-N - Duda has raked in the minors in recent years (.967 minor league OPS in 2010, 1.011 in 2011), but has yet to find a similar level of success in the majors. Some credit his lack of major league success with a lack of consistent major league playing time, as he only tallied 20 at-bats between two stints with the club earlier in the year. He came back to the Mets over the weekend after hitting 10 home runs to go with a 27:23 K:BB in 129 Triple-A at-bats, and he saw time at first and in left in the Pittsburgh series. With Jason Bay struggling in the outfield and Ike Davis on the DL for the foreseeable future, the Mets don't really have an excuse to exclude Duda from playing time.
