Closer Watch

Twins – Matt Capps is back and he’ll right slide back into closing, pushing Glen Perkins and Jared Burton back to their setup roles. Capps is trade bait, though, so savvy Perkins and Burton owners with roster space to spare will hold onto them, as it’s still quite possible that one will end up closing games for Minnesota for much of the season yet.

Recommended Pickup
Lorenzo Cain, OF, KC – A relatively popular sleeper pick, Cain’s first half was derailed by a groin injury and then a hip flexor injury, but he’s finally back in for the Royals and is likely to take over in centerfield more or less on a full-time basis. Don't forget the reason he was a sleeper: Last year, the former Brewers prospect hit .312 with an .877 OPS, 16 homers, 16 steals, 81 RBI and 84 runs in 128 games for Triple-A Omaha, and he could provide a healthy dose of pop and speed from the top of the Kansas City order.

Other Recent Recommendations: Justin Ruggiano, Tyler Colvin, Carlos Peguero, Brett Wallace, Yasmani Grandal
