TEAM ANALYSIS

Defenses to Avoid
Philadelphia 76ers at Golden State Warriors: The 76ers are actually rated pretty well by defensive metrics, but offense is another story. They are trotting out players that will likely be out of the league or in the D-League next season, and going up against the defensive Warriors, it's hard to recommend anybody on the Philly side of things.

Offenses to Use
Phoenix Suns at New Orleans Pelicans: These are two teams that aren't exactly focused defensively, so there should be points to be had here. The Suns have a strong advantage on the perimeter with their three-guard attack, and the Pelicans can claim to have an edge on the inside with the monster Anthony Davis. Utilize players from either offense in your lineups.

First game of a back-to-back:: Cleveland Cavaliers, New Orleans Pelicans, San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns
Second game of a back-to-back: Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, Utah Jazz

DraftKings.com DAILY PLAYER RECOMMENDATIONS
If you've never played on DraftKings before, we recommend reading our Daily Fantasy Basketball 101: How to Win on DraftKings strategy article. Want to play in a $50,000 daily NBA contest on DraftKings? Check it out here.

Point Guard
Ty Lawson, PG, DEN ($10,000): Point guards continue to destroy the Lakers, and their poor defense makes any opposing ballhandler worth a look. Lawson is always under consideration due to his ability to rack up points and assists, as well as his team's tendency to play in high scoring affairs. If you've got room for a highly priced option, consider Lawson on Tuesday.

Other suggestions: Goran Dragic (at NO), Jeff Teague (vs. CLE)

Shooting Guard
Tyreke Evans, SG, NO ($7,700):Earlier in the season, Evans was money on DraftKings. Since, he struggled through some injury issues and fell off a bit, causing him to be an inconsistent option. He still fluctuates enough to make you worry, but this is the type of matchup that he should excel in, and he has to the upside to be well worth his price tag.

Other suggestions: Eric Bledsoe (at NO), Nick Young (at DEN)

Small Forward
Gordon Hayward, SF, UTA ($7,600): Hayward is usually an appealing option due to his multi-category production even though the Jazz are not an exciting team offensively. Here, he'll get to take on the Minnesota defense that is one of the worst in the league and should have every opportunity to make an impact. Adding Hayward gives a solid floor with a nice ceiling.

Other suggestions: Draymond Green (vs. PHI), Wilson Chandler (vs. LAL)

Power Forward
Greg Monroe, PF, DET ($7,300): The Pistons look like a different team since releasing Josh Smith, and one of the main differences has been Monroe's insertion into the starting lineup. Since joining the first five, Monroe has been aggressive, and that shouldn't change against the Magic who look like a plus matchup.

Other suggestions: Pau Gasol (at BKN), Ed Davis (at DEN), Carlos Boozer (at DEN)

Center
Alex Len, C, PHX ($5,100): Len continues to start for the Suns, and he continues to be a useful option for a cheap price on DraftKings. The Pelicans have been bad against opposing centers this season, and the Suns will need his length to help defend Anthony Davis down low. If you need a cheaper option to fill out your roster, give Len a look.

Other suggestions: Mason Plumlee (vs. CHI), Al Horford (vs. CLE)
