Chicago Cubs - Hector Rondon earned his fourth save of the season Sunday against the Reds. Zac Rosscup and Pedro Strop worked ahead of him in the seventh and eighth innings.

Oakland Athletics - Tyler Clippard blew his first save of the season Sunday against the Astros.

Philadelphia Phillies - Jonathan Papelbon earned his fourth save of the season Sunday against the Braves, but it wasn't pretty. He allowed two hits -- including a solo home run to Alberto Callaspo -- and a walk during the appearance. Ken Giles worked as the set up man in the eighth inning, permitting a walk while striking out a batter during the scoreless appearance.

Recommended Pickup

Jimmy Paredes, OF, BAL - Paredes hit his second home run in three games Friday night, as he's begun to take over the O's DH starting gig. Not surprisingly, his playing time increase has coincided with a drop in playing time for Steve Pearce, who is batting just .167/.259/.292 with two home runs over 54 plate appearances this season and is in a 5-for-37 slump. He's not just getting playing time, though, as Paredes is hitting second in the lineup most games and hit third Friday night, showing that manager Buck Showalter has confidence in him. Last season between Triple-A Omaha and Triple-A Norfolk, Paredes hit .289/.317/.436 with eight home runs and 21 stolen bases over 420 plate appearances.

Other Recent Recommendations: Mark Teixeira, Marcus Semien, Tony Watson, Steven Souza, Addison Russell and Carlos Rodon.
