PITCHER
Noah Syndergaard, NYM vs. PIT ($11,700): Syndergaard has delivered on everything we expected from him following his breakout 2015 season, notching a 2.00 ERA with 95 strikeouts in just 76.2 innings. The Pirates have the third-lowest fly ball rate in the league, which should allow Syndergaard to lean heavily on his 53.4 percent ground ball rate.
Anthony DeSclafani, CIN at ATL ($8,100): Many would likely regard DeSclafani as a work in progress following an absence of more than two months due to an oblique injury, which should get us some scarcity against one of the worst offensive teams in the league. The Braves also rate as the second-worst team against the slider, a pitch DeSclafani threw more than 36 percent of the time in his season debut against the A's last week.
CATCHER
Russell Martin, TOR at PHI ($3,200): Martin's early-season struggles have been well documented, but he has started to come to life in June, hitting .269/.412/.500 with a 231 ISO over 26 at-bats. Opposing starter Jeremy Hellickson has been homer-prone from both sides of the platoon this season and is allowing a 1.4/9 rate against righties.
FIRST BASE
Joey Votto, CIN at ATL ($4,400):Bud Norris had his best start of the season last week against the Cubs, but I will be happy to throw lefties at him whenever the opportunity presents itself, as he has walked more southpaws than he has struck out and allowed four homers in 21 innings. Joey Votto has kept an excellent .236 ISO against righties despite a disappointing 2016 season overall.
SECOND BASE
Jason Kipnis, CLE at KC ($3,900): The shine is rapidly coming off Ian Kennedy after a strong start to the season. This is especially evident when looking at his numbers against lefties, as he has an xFIP near 5.50 and has allowed seven home runs in 33.1 innings. Meanwhile, Kipnis has an ISO of .200 in 166 at-bats against righties.
THIRD BASE
Eduardo Nunez, MIN at LAA ($4,500):Hector Santiago appears to be approaching his final days in the rotation, as he has lasted four innings or fewer in four of his last five starts. Nunez should match up well with the southpaw, as he features an extreme ground ball profile and rates nearly three runs above average against the changeup, a pitch Santiago throws 24 percent of the time.
SHORTSTOP
Asdrubal Cabrera NYM vs. PIT ($3,600):Jeff Locke is coming off an 11-run shellacking in Colorado, and he could be the perfect stack target for righties, as he has kept a 5.37 xFIP over 54 innings. Cabrera hasn't provided much power against lefties this season, but he could put his .364 on-base percentage to good use against Locke's 9.3 percent walk rate.
OUTFIELD
Khris Davis, TEX at OAK ($3,700):Derek Holland has the ability to throw good games, but he also possesses tremendous blowup potential, as evidenced by his 5.39 xFIP. Davis is a bit of a one-note player, but his .370 ISO in 46 at-bats against southpaws should be utilized at every opportunity.
Franklin Gutierrez, SEA at TB ($3,000): For someone who gets the bulk of his at-bats against lefties, it may surprise some to learn that Gutierrez has actually shown more power against same-handed pitchers this season. Still, his well-rounded line of .273/.372/.455 versus southpaws should play well against Drew Smyly, who has allowed 11 home runs to right-handed batters in 55 innings this year.
Robbie Grossman, MIN at LAA ($3,500): We will go back to the well with Grossman after he left the yard Monday. The 26-year-old has absolutely scorched left-handed pitching this season, tallying a .419/.471/.742 batting line in 31 at-bats.
