PITCHER
Clayton Kershaw, LAD vs. SF ($12,500): Kershaw looked like his usual self in a rain-shortened five-inning stint against the Yankees, allowing just one hit and scoring 20.7 fantasy points. He should be in line for a normal pitch count Monday against a Giants offense that he's generated a 2-0 record and averaged 28.9 fantasy points against over three starts this season. San Francisco also has a mediocre .315 wOBA against left-handed pitching, along with a .304 wOBA on the road that ranks as a bottom-10 figure in the majors.
Jharel Cotton, OAK vs. HOU ($5,900): Cotton is a value tournament play against an Astros squad that's struck out at a 23.7 percent clip against right-handed pitching. As a rookie making only his third major league start there is certainly a notable degree of risk, but Cotton has already shown some solid upside relative to his price with 19.9 fantasy points in his first start. Houston also comes in with relatively cold bats, having generated a paltry .272 wOBA over the last seven days that's the third-lowest in the majors over that span.
CATCHER
J.T. Realmuto, MIA vs. WAS ($4,300): Realmuto boasts multi-hit outings in three of his last five games and is slashing an impressive .312/.352/.438 overall on the season. He'll take aim at Nationals rookie starter A.J. Cole, who's given up a .313 wOBA to right-handed hitting on the road, and eight earned runs and a .337 wOBA over his last 16 innings. Realmuto has battered righty arms throughout the season, with a stellar .334 batting average, .358 wOBA and 30.7 percent hard contact rate against that handedness. He's also been swinging a hot bat, posting a .346 batting average and .395 wOBA over his last 14 games.
FIRST BASE
Albert Pujols, LAA at TEX ($4,300) Pujols has hit safely in five of his last six games, including four straight. He's also blasted southpaws to the tune of a .362 wOBA , .258 ISO, 21.7 percent HR/FG rate and 40.3 percent hard contact rate, while Rangers starter Martin Perez has yielded a .345 wOBA and eight homers to right-handed hitters at Globe Life Park.
SECOND BASE
Ryan Schimpf, SD vs. ARI ($4,500): Schimpf takes aim at D-Backs starter Braden Shipley, who's allowed a .365 wOBA and 2.43 HR/9 to left-handed hitters, along with a 43.9 percent hard contact rate when facing them away from Chase Field. Schimpf has 16 of his 19 homers on the season against right-handed pitching, while also posting a .389 wOBA, .351 ISO and 42 percent hard contact rate when facing them at Petco Park.
THIRD BASE
Adrian Beltre, TEX vs. LAA ($4,700): Beltre has blasted 21 of his 30 homers on the season against right-handed pitchers, while also generating a .349 wOBA and 32.8 percent hard contact rate. The veteran slugger is not only seemingly getting better with age, he's getting stronger as the season winds down, with a .328 batting average, five homers, .415 wOBA and a .281 ISO over his last 16 games. Meanwhile, Angels starter Jhoulys Chacin has given up a .373 wOBA, 10 homers and a 33.5 percent hard contact rate on the road this season, along with a .344 wOBA to righty bats away from Angel Stadium.
SHORTSTOP
Andrelton Simmons, LAA at TEX ($4,000): After going homer-less for the majority of the season, Simmons has experienced a sudden power surge over the last several weeks, blasting three of his four round-trippers on the season in his last 13 games, during which he's also posted a .333 batting average, .441 wOBA and .311 ISO. He also has an impressive .340 wOBA against southpaws, while Rangers starter Martin Perez's struggles against right-handed hitters at home were detailed earlier. With double-digit fantasy points in seven of his last 10 games, the cost-conscious Simmons looks particularly appealing Monday.
OUTFIELD
Yasmany Tomas, ARI at SD ($4,200): Padres starter Clayton Richard has seen right-handed hitters post a .352 wOBA against him this season, and a 32.4 percent hard contact rate against him at Petco Park. Meanwhile, Tomas has been an absolute terror against southpaws all season, particularly on the road, where he's posted an absurd .390 batting average, .510 wOBA, .407 ISO, 220 wRC and astronomical 75 percent HR/FB rate over a 65-plate appearance sample.
Curtis Granderson, NYM vs. ATL ($4,700): Granderson could be in for an extension of his recent long-ball success against Braves rookie starter Aaron Blair, who has allowed a .439 wOBA, 1.98 HR/9 and 6.29 xFIP to lefties on the road. Granderson counters with a .335 wOBA, .245 ISO and 38.8 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching, along with 22 homers. He's also blasted six round-trippers in his last 14 games (including two Sunday), which has helped produce a .372 wOBA and whopping .396 ISO over that span.
Trea Turner, WAS at MIA ($5,500): Nothing seems to deter Turner at the plate, as even two rain delays that led to a seven-inning game Sunday couldn't prevent him from tallying double-digit fantasy points for the sixth time in the last 10. While he's had more success against right-handed pitching, Turner is too hot not to roster, particularly with his ability to provide multi-category fantasy production in any given game. He has a .408 wOBA on the road this season, along with a .386 batting average and .476 wOBA over his last 16 games. Marlins return starter Wei-Yin Chen has given up a .341 wOBA and 19 of the 20 homers on the season to righty bats, along with a 38.6 percent hard contact rate when facing them at Marlins Park.
