FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Get ready for a fun night in the NBA on Wednesday, as there are 10 games on the schedule. The Spurs, Raptors, Bulls and Thunder are all in action, so there will be a lot of elite players taking the court. Let's take a look at some different options available across price ranges Wednesday for your FanDuel lineup.

Kyle Lowry, TOR vs MEM ($8,300): I like this matchup for Lowry because Mike Conley (back) will be out, leaving the Grizzlies severely lacking at the point guard spot. Lowry is having another impressive campaign as he is averaging 19.9 points, 5.1 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game. With really no one left to put up much resistance against him, I think he will at least reach his season average of 37.9 FanDuel points per game, if not exceed it.

Rajon Rondo, CHI vs LAL ($5,800): Rondo doesn't score much, but that's not why you play him. You play Rondo because of his rebounding and passing abilities. He has been especially hot of late, recording at least eight rebounds and at least eight assists in each of his last four games. That resulted in at least 31.8 FanDuel points in all four of those contests. I'm rolling with Rondo at this price Wednesday.

Josh Richardson, MIA at DEN ($4,600): Richardson doesn't jump off the stat sheet, but he has come away with at least 23.6 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. Dion Waiters (groin) will not play in this game against the Nuggets, so Richardson could see a few extra minutes and shot attempts. The price is right to take a chance on him if you need a cheap shooting guard.

Jimmy Butler, CHI vs LAL ($9,000): Butler has been excellent for the Bulls this season as he is averaging 25.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game. That's fantasy gold. The Bulls are finally coming home after a long road trip and get to face a Lakers squad not known for its defensive abilities. I'm expecting a big performance for Butler, especially if Dwyane Wade (dental procedure) is ultimately held out.

Jae Crowder, BOS vs DET ($5,200): Crowder appears to be fully healthy and has stepped up his game of late, posting at least 30.1 FanDuel points in both of his last two games. He started off the season recording at least 34 FanDuel points in two of his first three games before he was injured. I think he's a bargain at this price and could really provide a lot of value.

Ersan Ilyasova, PHI vs SAC ($4,600): The Sixers like Ilyasova to stretch the floor and he has been solid of late, recording at least 21.7 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. He doesn't contribute hardly anything defensively, but he is averaging 13.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game since joining the Sixers. I think he's the best option available if you want to save money at power forward.

Hassan Whiteside, MIA at DEN ($8,700): Whiteside destroyed the Celtics on Monday as he scored 25 points to go along with 17 rebounds and two blocks. He has provided excellent fantasy value this season as he is averaging 40.8 FanDuel points per game. The Nuggets have a lot of big men, but they are still going to have trouble slowing down Whiteside. I think he is in for another big night.

Joel Embiid, PHI vs SAC ($6,200): When Embiid is playing, it's usually a wise move to put him in your lineup as well as he has posted at least 30.7 FanDuel points in each of the last for games he has played. He continues to amaze, as he is averaging 18.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks despite only averaging 23 minutes per game. DeMarcus Cousins is no defensive stopper, so I think Embiid will have another productive night.

Robin Lopez, CHI vs LAL ($5,000): Lopez is clearly not one of the focal points of the Bulls starting unit, but the Bulls are a better team when he sees extended minutes. He failed to play at least 30 minutes in all seven of the team's first games to start the season, but has since played at least 30 minutes in a game five times. Extra playing time equals extra opportunities to produce for fantasy owners. He posted 32.2 FanDuel points in the Bulls first game against the Lakers this season and should be in for a similar performance Wednesday.
