PITCHER
Julio Teheran, ATL vs. SD ($8,500): Teheran is off to a nice start this season. Through 13 innings, he has 10 strikeouts and he's yet to surrender an earned run. He gets the Padres here, a team that was second-to-last in the league last season in K% versus righties. Teheran's ERA was higher at home than on the road last season, but his K% was higher at home, which plays right into the Padres' tendency to strike out at a high-rate against righties. There are some big names on the board, but Teheran's price will give you some versatility with your lineup.
CATCHER
Nick Hundley, SF vs. COL ($2,700): Hundley has stepped in for the injured Buster Posey and to this point, he's done a fine job. Through four games, Hundley has averaged 10.1 points per game. Tyler Anderson will be on the hill for the Rockies and last season, he really struggled on the road — especially against righties.
FIRST BASE
Anthony Rizzo, CHC vs. PIT ($4,100): Rizzo is the most likely Cub to take advantage of Gerrit Cole's deficiencies, as he posted the best wOBA against righties last season on the team. Not only was Rizzo's wOBA versus righties the best on the team, but it was top-10 in the majors.
SECOND BASE
Daniel Murphy, WAS vs. PHI ($3,800):Aaron Nola is particularly tough on the righties, but he's just average against lefties. Daniel Murphy is one of the league's best against right-handed pitching and should be able to take advantage of this matchup. Last season, Murphy posted a .419 wOBA against righties, which was fourth best in the bigs. He's off to a great start this season as well, averaging 16-fantasy points through nine games.
SHORTSTOP
Elvis Andrus, TEX at SEA ($3,300): The days of fading everyone that faces Felix Hernandez are gone. Hernandez can still pitch, but he's not elite anymore. Elvis Andrus is off to a great start this year, averaging 14.3 fantasy points through nine games. Andrus has faced Hernandez 106 times and has a lifetime .314 wOBA against him. That's not a great number, but remember, for most of those at-bats, Hernandez was elite. Things are different now.
THIRD BASE
Todd Frazier, CHW at MN ($3,500): After a slow start to the season, Frazier has found his groove over his past three games, averaging over 16 points. He gets a nice matchup here against rookie left-hander Adalberto Mejia. Mejia struggled in his first start against the White Sox last week, getting chased before even tossing two full innings. Frazier is just one of many White Sox hitters that should again take advantage of the rookie, as he posted a .339 wOBA against lefties last season. On the road, he was even better with a .402 mark.
OUTFIELD
Kyle Schwarber, CHC vs.PIT ($3,400): Schwarber is much better against righties than lefties as proven by his lifetime .392 wOBA against righties. Schwarber sits at the top of the Cubs' lineup and should be able to take advantage of Cole's issues with left-handed hitting.
Melky Cabrera, CHW at MN ($2,600): As mentioned earlier, you'll want to target righties in the White Sox lineup against Mejia. Cabrera is a switch-hitter that was better from the right side last season. His wOBA against southpaws last year was .360 and .379 on the road against righties. Cabrera walks less and strikes out more from the right side, but he also hits for a better average and slugging percentage.
Adam Duvall, CIN vs MIL ($3,600): Duvall is off to a great start this season, averaging 14 points per game through 10 contests. He gets a nice matchup against a struggling Tommy Milone, who is a rare southpaw that doesn't get lefties out at a high rate, so Joey Votto is also in play. Also, Duvall's best split last season was at home against lefties where he posted a .362 wOBA.
