PITCHER
Kenta Maeda, LAD at SD ($8,400): The Padres have the sixth worst wOBA against righties this season and are tied with the worst K% against righties. Maeda got off to a rough start this season, but he may have turned it around in his last start. Maeda went seven innings, allowing two runs with eight strikeouts against a competent Phillies lineup. Considering his ERA is 6.58, he certainly comes with some risk, but if he truly did turn a corner in his last start, then he should fare well against a weak Padres lineup.
CATCHER
Jett Bandy, MIL at PIT ($2,900):Chad Kuhl takes the mound for the Pirates, and his poor start to the season is about to get worse. Kuhl sports a 6.26 ERA through five starts and if the Brewers show up for this one, that number could go even higher. Jeff Bandy is not the first name you think of when it comes to the Brewers, but he's been one of the most productive hitters in their lineup. He's in a timeshare with Manny Pina, who's hit very well this season, but if Bandy gets the start here, he's a great option at a fairly low price.
FIRST BASE
Paul Goldschmidt, AZ at COL ($5,200): Goldschmidt costs a pretty penny on the road at Coors, but he's worth it against German Marquez. Marquez was hammered in his first start, but pitched a gem against the Diamondbacks in his next outing. That said, Goldschmidt has a .449 wOBA against righties this season, so he shouldn't get fooled again by the youngster Marquez.
SECOND BASE
Dustin Pedroia, BOS at MN ($2,900): Twins starter Phil Hughes is 4-1 this season with a 5.06 ERA. It's obvious he's been the benefactor of good run support, but the numbers show he's been vulnerable this season. The Red Sox haven't been the most potent team, so I would advise against a full stack, but I like Pedroia because of his price and his track record against Hughes. Pedroia has a .520 wOBA against him, which includes five home runs in 41 at-bats.
SHORTSTOP
Miguel Rojas, MIA at NYM ($2,800): It might surprise you to learn that even with the likes of Giancarlo Stanton and Marcell Ozuna on the roster, Miguel Rojas actually leads the Marlins in wOBA against righties this season at .395. He's also on a bit of a roll right now with six hits in his past three games. The matchup here is enticing, as well, as Rafael Montero takes the hill for the Mets and has struggled in a relief role this season. Rojas has surrendered seven runs in six relief appearances and this will be his first start of the year.
THIRD BASE
Joey Gallo, TEX at SEA ($3,300): If you are looking for consistency, look elsewhere as Gallo is about as hit-or-miss as they come, but when he's on, his ceiling is as high as anyone in the league. Gallo is coming off a 30-point game Thursday and I'm thinking it might be the start of another hot run. Even with all the inconsistency, Gallo has managed to post the highest wOBA against righties on the Rangers team this season. He'll face Yovani Gallardo, who has pitched well just once in five starts.
OUTFIELD
Jay Bruce, NYM vs. MIA ($3,900): Attention, non-elite right-hander facing the Mets! Whenever that's the case, Bruce is at the top of my list. Bruce is hammering righties this season to the tune of a .488 WOBA, which is good for seventh in all of baseball. Bruce and the Mets will face Tom Koehler, and while Koehler is serviceable, he's never been near elite. Koehler has allowed three runs of more in four of his five starts this season. If anyone is going to get to Koehler, it will be Bruce.
Gorkys Hernandez, SF at CIN ($2,700): It's not often that a guy batting .182 will find his way onto this list, but Hernandez is in a pretty good spot to produce against a struggling Bronson Arroyo. Arroyo's job this year is to simply eat innings and if he keeps up his current pace, he'll force Cinci's hand sooner than later. Hernandez led off for the Giants in their most recent game and if he does so in this contest, he'll be a steal at this price. Hernandez has shown some consistency lately, with at least six fantasy points in each of his last five games.
Avisail Garcia, CHW at BAL ($3,700): Through 26 games, Garcia is averaging 12.9 fantasy points per game, which puts him in a similar class as Charlie Blackmon and Ryan Braun. Garcia's price is starting to swell, but he's not at the point where he needs a great matchup to provide value. He'll face Wade Miley, who is walking way too many hitters to be successful and if he doesn't get that figured out soon, his numbers will suffer. Garcia has a very healthy .399 wOBA against lefties this season.
