Pitcher
Dinelson Lamet, SDP vs. PIT ($7,900): Saturday's main slate features two aces and what appears to be a major drop off after that, with an $1,800 gap before the next arm. It's going to be hard to justify gambling outside of Zach Greinke or Corey Kluber, but if you're willing to roll the dice, Lamet makes for an intriguing tournament play. He has an impressive 28.7 percent strikeout rate at home, suggesting upside, while his 4.30 ERA at Petco seems to be a bit of bad luck as he's allowing only a .278 wOBA and .761 OPS there. The Pirates rank 25th against righties offensively, posting just a .309 wOBA and 89 wRC+.
Catcher
Cameron Rupp, PHI vs. ATL ($2,600): Rupp brings a white-hot bat into Saturday, having gone 6-for-12 with three homers and five RBI in his last three starts. It stands to reason the Phillies will allow him to continue to start Saturday against lefty Sean Newcomb, as Rupp owns a .365 wOBA and 124 wRC+ against southpaws. Newcomb, who has labored through his last four starts, allowing 19 runs, 25 hits and 14 walks over 18.2 innings, with righties posting a .501 wOBA and 1.242 OPS.
First Base
Joey Votto, CIN at MIA ($3,700): Marlins starter Adam Conley has been borderline dominant on the road (1.54 ERA) but has pitched like a Triple-A player at home, owning a 10.80 ERA and 1.91 WHIP. It's a small sample size, just 21 plate appearances, but Conley has been torched by lefties to the tune of a .470 wOBA and 1.125 OPS at Marlins Park. That certainly suggests Votto and his .406 wOBA, 148wRC+ and .309 ISO against same-handed arms is in position for success Saturday.
Second Base
Jose Ramirez, CLE at CWS ($3,600): I had initially planned to make Edwin Encarnacion my highlighted Indian in this column, as he's taken Sox starter Miguel Gonzalez deep four times in 35 at-bats. But Ramirez's price has fallen to a shocking low given his upside. He owns a team-leading .401 wOBA and 153 wRC+ against righties, going .361/126 since July 1. Gonzalez is allowing a .353 wOBA to lefties to date.
Third Base
Kris Bryant, CHC at MIL ($3,900): The price point here, similar to that of Ramirez above, seems to just beg you to take Bryant on Saturday. Sure, he's the second-highest priced player at his position, but that's an honor he shares with three others. He leads the surging Cubs with a .370 wOBA and 126 wRC+, numbers that are sustained since July 1 (.372/127). Brewers' starter Junior Guerra has a 6.88 ERA in July, allowing righties to lift the ball 41.4 percent of the time, with 25.0 percent of those clearing the wall.
Shortstop
Marcus Semien, OAK vs. MIN (3,200): At a position that remains void of consistent options, riding a hot bat in Semien could prove beneficial. He's managed double-digit fantasy points in seven of his last nine games, and owns a spiffy .423 wOBA, 174 wRC+ and .974 OPS against lefties since July 6.
Outfield
Adam Jones, BAL at TEX ($3,800): This game has the highest total on the slate at 11.5, and taking advantage of Jones' move to the leadoff spot can pay dividends here. He's a .403 wOBA, 154 wRC+ and .262 ISO in 14 games (61 at bats) atop the order, and has a nice matchup against Rangers' spot-starter Austin Bibens-Dirkx, who has a 7.43 home ERA, where he allows a .391 wOBA to righties.
Ender Inciarte, ATL at PHI ($3,000): Inciarte represents a safer option in this volatile slate. He's been shut out only once since June 27, and carries a modest .317 wOBA against righties into Saturday against Jerad Eickhoff, who struggles greatly against left-handed bats, allowing a .368 wOBA and .880 OPS.
Carlos Gomez, TEX vs. BAL ($2,900): O's starter Kevin Gausman has allowed only one run while striking out 16 in his last two starts, spanning 12.0 innings. Yet he still owns a 6.90 road ERA, where he's allowing a collective .408 wOBA. The last time Gausman strung together two straight successful outings, he followed them up by allowing 16 hits and 13 earned runs over seven innings in his next two starts. He's been combustible and inconsistent enough to merit stacking secondary Ranger bats like Gomez, Joey Gallo, Nomar Mazara and Elvis Andrus. Mazara got his Friday night, and Gomez has a .350 wOBA and 116 wRC+ against righties, ranking third among Ranger regulars.
