Pitcher
Drew Pomeranz, BOS at CLE ($44): The Indians have a majors low .239 wOBA, 24.7 percent strikeout rate and 45 wRC+ against left-handed pitching at home over the last 21 days. Pomeranz has scored between 15.7 and 32.7 fantasy points in his last nine road starts, with three of those over 20 fantasy points. He also has a solid 2.66 ERA over 40.2 second-half innings.
Marcus Stroman, TOR at TB ($44): Stroman takes on a Rays squad that has a majors low .244 wOBA against right-handed pitching at home over the last 21 days, along with a 30.2 percent strikeout rate and 51 wRC+. Stroman has a 2.30 ERA and .290 wOBA allowed over 47 second-half innings and has scored 26.6 and 24.9 fantasy points, respectively, in his last two starts.
Catcher
Alex Avila, CHC at CIN ($9): Avila checks in at a bargain price against Reds starter Asher Wojchiechowski, who's allowed a .379 wOBA to left-handed hitters, and a .419 wOBA in his last four starts. Avila owns a .395 wOBA, .238 ISO and 54.2 percent hard contact rate against right-handed pitching, while Reds relievers have a 9.28 ERA and have allowed a .415 wOBA to the 56 lefty bats they've faced at home over the last 21 days.
First Base
Jose Abreu, CWS vs. MIN ($21): Abreu boasts a .533 average over 17 plate appearances against Twins starter Ervin Santana, who's allowed 14 homers and a 4.86 xFIP to right-handed hitters. Abreu has 16 of his 25 homers this season off righties, along with a .340 wOBA and 39.0 percent hard contact rate. He's also raking in August, posting a .388 wOBA and 42.9 percent hard contact rate.
Second Base
Brian Dozier, MIN at CWS ($23): Dozier has 20 of his 26 homers on the season off right-handed pitching and boasts a .463 wOBA over 98 August plate appearances. White Sox starter James Shields has allowed a 5.28 xFIP and 36.1 percent hard contact rate to righty bats at Guaranteed Rate Field, and a .375 average, including four homers and 10 RBI, to Dozier over 36 plate appearances. Meanwhile, White Sox relievers have a majors high 10.50 ERA and have allowed a .502 wOBA, including seven homers, to righty bats at home over the last 21 days.
Third Base
Anthony Rendon, WAS at HOU ($16): While Rendon has really made a living off lefties, he certainly hasn't been shabby against righties, posting a .383 wOBA, .226 ISO and 34.4 percent hard contact rate. Astros starter Mike Fiers has allowed a .358 wOBA, including 17 homers, to righty bats, along with a 23.6 percent HR/FB rate and 32.2 percent hard contact rate.
Shortstop
Elvis Andrus, TEX at LAA ($20): Andrus makes for an appealing play against Angels lefty Andrew Heaney, who's surrendered a .458 wOBA to right-handed hitters over a modest sample this season, and a .343 wOBA to that handedness over the course of his career. Andrus owns a .331 wOBA, .220 ISO and 32.6 percent hard contact rate against lefties on the road, as well as a .400 wOBA over 91 plate appearances in August.
Outfield
Gerardo Parra, COL at KC ($16): Parra's successful history against Royals starter Ian Kennedy includes a .500 average over nine plate appearances, and he boasts a .382 wOBA against righties, along with a 46.0 percent hard contact rate when facing them on the road. Kennedy has allowed a .378 wOBA, 6.35 xFIP and 45.5 percent hard contact rate to lefty bats at home while also generating an 8.53 ERA and allowing a .437 wOBA over his last three starts. Royals relievers also have a 5.14 ERA against lefty bats at home over the last three weeks.
Eddie Rosario, MIN at CWS ($21): Rosario's torrid August includes a .427 wOBA, including seven homers, and a 37.7 percent hard contact rate over 88 plate appearances. He's also blasted righties for a .374 wOBA and .242 ISO, while Shields has allowed a .474 wOBA, 7.06 xFIP and 38.6 percent hard contact rate to lefty bats at home.
Ender Inciarte, ATL vs. SEA ($13): Mariners starter Erasmo Ramirez has been particularly vulnerable to lefty bats on the road in both of his stops this season, allowing a .392 wOBA, including eight homers, and 47.5 percent hard contact rate. Inciarte owns a .354 wOBA against right-handed pitching at home, while Mariners relievers have allowed a .345 wOBA, including five homers, to the 87 lefty bats they've faced on the road in the last three weeks.
