| Morrison (knee) made his first rehab appearance with Single-A Jupiter, smacking a pair of singles during a 2-for-5 day. |
LoMo batted third for the Hammerheads and, more importantly, emerged from the game healthy. He'll be eligible to return on May 30, and an early-June activation is looking more likely by the day. Morrison will step right into the middle of the Marlins' struggling lineup as the starting first baseman as soon as he is fit to return. |

| Ruggiano scored a run and drove in two during a 2-for-4 effort Monday versus the Phillies. |
Ruggiano entered the night hitless over his previous six games, watching his average dip all the way down to .206 for the season. The solid effort was sorely needed for a Marlins team that has been desperately searching for offense. Despite his recent struggles, Ruggiano has posted seven home runs and five steals in 41 games this season and remains on track for a 20/20 season in the outfield. |

| Making a third straight start, Coghlan produced two more hits, including his first triple of 2013. |
Coghlan's bat is coming alive of late, as he has four hits in his last three games, all starts. Coghlan could emerge on the fantasy radar if he continues to steal starts in left field thanks to his lofty .348 average this month. |

| Cishek, who pitched Saturday and Sunday, was not warming up during the eighth inning when the Marlins had a one-run lead Monday night, the Palm Beach Post reports. Marlins manager Mike Redmond told reporters after the game that he intends to use all of his relievers -- including Cishek -- to close out games in the near future. |
In Monday's game, the Marlins opened up a four-run lead before the ninth inning began, but it was Chad Qualls who finished the game in a non-save opportunity. Ultimately, the Marlins may simply look to avoid having Cishek face lefties, but even a committee arrangement could end up favoring him over the likes of Qualls, Mike Dunn, A.J. Ramos and any of the Marlins' other relievers. |

| Sanabia notched his third win of the season Monday after spinning 6.1 strong innings against the Phillies. He allowed one earned run on seven hits and a walk. |
The Marlins collected back-to-back victories for the first time since May 4-5 and have now taken three straight from their division rivals from Philadelphia. Sanabia is the owner of a 4.56 ERA on the year with an uninspiring 28:24 K:BB ratio and he remains little more than a back-end starter on a bad team. Sanabia will take the hill once again Sunday versus the White Sox in Chicago. |
