Kay Felder

Felder, a rookie out of Oakland, was one of the most dynamic players in all of college basketball last season, as he led the Horizon League in scoring (26.5 per game) and assists (9.3 per game) en route to conference Player of the Year honors. Felder also added 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game, making him one of the more well-rounded mid-major players in recent memory. If Felder were two inches taller, he likely would have been a first-round pick, but since he's listed at a generous 5-foot-9, some teams expressed concerns about how his size would translate to the NBA level. The Cavaliers weren't one of those teams, as they traded up into the second round to select Felder 54th overall. While veteran Mo Williams remains under contract, he saw his playing time decline in the second half of last season and could concede the top backup role to Felder sooner rather than later if the rookie proves up to the task. That being said, starter Kyrie Irving figures to assume the heftiest workload of anyone on the team, so any minutes Felder would receive likely wouldn't be enough for him to deliver much fantasy value.
