Jacque Vaughn's broken foot probably means extra minutes for Best down the stretch; possibly even a starter's role.
ANALYSIS
Vaughn suffered the injury in the first half of New Jersey's loss to Orlando on Saturday. Best started the second half in Vaughn's place.

Entering his 13 year, Best provides veteran leadership behind starting point guard Jason Kidd. Playing 19 minutes per game last year, Best will see even less playing time this year with the acquisition of Jeff McInnis. The Nets also have Jacque Vaughn to distribute the point guard minutes. Best will only become valuable if Kidd and company go down with injuries.
Will give the Nets some depth at point guard.
Best will back up Steve Nash at the point for the Mavericks. Best isn't a strong three-point shooter, but is a good ball-handler and will be a solid contributor to spell Nash when called upon. Best won't give you big fantasy numbers, but he will provide the Mavs with solid depth at the point.
