RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014-15

There was no outlook written for John Edwards.

2007-08

Edwards played in the NBA Development League last season and will add depth in the front court with Mark Madsen out initially after shoulder surgery. He's a long shot to win significant minutes.

2005-06

Edwards will compete for minutes at the center position, and given the weak players ahead of him - Zaza Pachulia and Jason Collier - he could see some playing time this season.

2003-04

Edwards can rebound and block shots in the NBA, but will never score you a ton of points. His upside is very minimal and projects to be a possible backup center in the NBA. Because of position scarcity, Edwards will probably be selected with a late second round pick.
