Past Fantasy Outlooks

2003
In his rookie year, Vroman didn't really start playing until the end of the year when injuries hit the front court, averaging 21.9 min/game the last two months of the season. He was fairly inconsistent with his production, but started to stabilize near the end of the year. He averaged 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game in the last nine games of the season. Don't expect much from him this year, though, playing behind Jamaal Magloire and Chris Andersen. He has some skill to put up decent numbers, but he is still a few years away from contributing on a consistent basis.
Vroman, who was selected No. 31 overall by the Suns in the 2004 draft, and missed most of the preseason rehabbing his broken right thumb. As a center, he plays a position of need on this team, but he’ll be behind Jake Voskhul and Steven Hunter to start the season.
Vroman is a decent rebounder considering his lack of bulk. His height will most likely not let him play the center position in the NBA. Vroman will most likely be drafted in the second round.
