FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

We are approaching the end of the regular season, and as a result of some teams clinching playoff spots, it's hard to determine what players will be taking the floor on any given night and which players will be rested. Throw in the massive amount of injuries around the league, and picking your FanDuel daily lineup can become a patchwork project.

Tuesday's NBA schedule consists of only four games, one of which is a very interesting game between the Warriors and Clippers. Let's take a look at some players where you might be able to take advantage of cheap prices to create a winning lineup.

Point Guard

Deron Williams, $6,200, BKN: Williams has played well of late as he is averaging 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 8.8 assists, and 1.4 steals over his last five games. The encouraging thing for fantasy participants is that he has played at least 31 minutes in three of his last four games, scoring at least 30.7 FanDuel points in each of those three games. With the Nets making a push for the playoffs, look for them to lean on Williams again Tuesday.

Shooting Guard

J.J. Redick, $6,500, LAC: The Clippers have been hot and winning big of late, but Redick has still been able to produce at least 25.0 FanDuel points in six of his last eight games. The Clippers need him to score with Jamal Crawford (calf) out of action, and Redick hasn't disappointed by scoring at least 20 points in five of his last seven games. Although he is not one of the cheapest options, Redick might be one of the safest bets to produce Tuesday.

Kent Bazemore, $4,600, ATL: The Hawks played Monday against the Bucks, so they might be resting their starters Tuesday. If that's the case, Bazemore would likely start against the Pistons. When he gets extended playing time, he usually produces as he has scored at least 27.4 FanDuel points in three of the last five games where he has played at least 28 minutes. Keep an eye on the news coming out of Atlanta on Tuesday, and if they do rest their starters, Bazemore is a nice cheap option.

Small Forward

Matt Barnes, $5,300, LAC: This is going to be a fun game to watch with the Clippers battling it out with the Warriors. These teams always seem to play each other tough, a style that Barnes usually plays regardless of the opponent. Barnes has stepped up his game offensively of late as he is averaging 14.0 points over his last four games. Even though he has played only 27 minutes in two of his last four games, he is still producing as he posted at least 22.6 FanDuel points three times over those four games. With a thin schedule Tuesday, Barnes is worth taking a risk on for his mid-tier price.

Power Forward

Boris Diaw, $4,300, SAN: The power forward position is thin Monday as Greg Monroe (knee) might still be out, and Paul Millsap might be rested again. If you don't want to go with Blake Griffin ($8,800) or Tim Duncan ($7,300), Diaw is an interesting option at a cheap price. He has scored at least 17 points in three of his last five games and has produced at least 19.4 FanDuel points in four games over that same stretch. It's unlikely that he will put up a huge line Tuesday, but that's normally not expected out of someone in this price range anyway.

Center

Andrew Bogut, $5,100, GS: I'm going with my guy here as I think Bogut will be needed to play as many minutes as possible against DeAndre Jordan. Offense is not his strong suit, but he has blocked at least two shots in four of his last seven games. FanDuel participants have been treated to at least 26.3 points from Bogut in three of his last five games. If you're looking to bargain hunt at center Tuesday, Bogut might just be your man.
