FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday's seven game schedule in the NBA includes some elite teams as the Warriors, Cavaliers and Hawks are all in action. There are a lot of big names to choose from when selecting your FanDuel lineup, but don't forget the bargain players that can be the key to a big payday. Here are some of the more intriguing cheap options available.

Point Guard
Dennis Schroder, $4,800, ATL:
Starting point guard Jeff Teague (ankle) is not going to play Tuesday against the Nets, meaning Schroder will likely start in his place. Schroder played 33 minutes Sunday against the Jazz and finished with 11 points, six rebounds and nine assists. The Nets are certainly not a defensive powerhouse, making Schroder a strong play considering his expanded role and cheap price Tuesday.

Cory Joseph, $4,300, TOR: Joseph has played very well for the Raptors and has been a big part of their bench by playing at least 26 minutes in six of the last seven games. Although he is not posting elite numbers, he has produced at least 24.9 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. You can't ask for much more than that from a player at this price, making him a solid option Tuesday against the Warriors.

Shooting Guard
Will Barton, $5,000, DEN:
Barton is an interesting player to consider because he has the ability to put up big numbers at a cheap price. When he gets extended minutes, he usually produces. He has played at least 31 minutes in three of his last five games and posted no less than 35.5 FanDuel points in any of those three contests. Although he only put up 15.1 and 8.9 FanDuel points in those other two games, he might be worth the risk at this price.

Small Forward
Andre Iguodala, $4,700, GS:
Iguodala has been huge off the bench for the Warriors this season and has been a solid daily play as well, posting at least 20.2 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. Don't let his status as a member of the bench fool you as he has played at least 29 minutes in five of his last seven games. The price is right for his matchup Tuesday against the Raptors.

Thabo Sefolosha, $3,900, ATL: Not only will Teague be out of action Tuesday, but Kent Bazemore (ankle) will be unable to play as well. Queue Sefolosha, who has recorded at least 16.7 FanDuel points in three of his last four games despite playing 24 minutes or less in each of those contests. If Sefolosha can play a few more minutes and post over 20 FanDuel points at this price Tuesday, he would provide nice value.

Power Forward
Thaddeus Young, $5,800, BKN:
Young isn't one of the cheapest options at power forward Tuesday against the Hawks, but I think he will be worth the price. The Nets need him to produce and he has been of late by recording a double-double in two of his last four games and recording at least two steals in three of his last four games. Locking in a mostly dependable player at this price can be very beneficial when crafting the rest of your squad.

Center
Timofey Mozgov, $4,200, CLE:
There are excellent options at center Tuesday as Andre Drummond ($9,800), Hassan Whiteside ($8,300) and Greg Monroe ($8,200) are all in action. For those bargain hunters out there, Mozgov warrants consideration as the Cavaliers might need him to play more than usual to try and slow down Drummond. In the last two games where Mozgov has played at least 23 minutes, he has posted 18.2 and 20.4 FanDuel points respectively. Don't expect huge production, but Mozgov could provide nice value at this price.
