Wednesday brings a heavy slate of games, as 20 teams will be in action. There are some great matchups including the Pacers against the Bulls and the Warriors against the Mavericks. Lots of games brings plenty of options on FanDuel, but here are some of the better value plays to consider.
Point Guard
Ish Smith, PHI at SAC ($5,200): The Sixers brought Smith in to try and at least give themselves a competent point guard and he has not disappointed, scoring at least 24.9 fantasy points in both games since returning to Philadelphia. He exploded Monday against the Jazz by posting 22 points and 11 assists. Expect him to have a significant role with the team going forward, making him a strong play at this price Wednesday against a poor Kings squad.
Trey Burke, UTA at MIN ($4,500): Burke has the potential to see more playing time with Alec Burks (ankle) out for an extended period of time. Burke played 27 minutes in his last game Monday against the Sixers, scoring 23.3 fantasy points. Don't expect a ton of assists, but he can score enough to provide value.
Shooting Guard
Devin Booker, PHO at SA ($3,600): It's hard not to give Booker a chance Wednesday at this price. He moved into the starting lineup with Eric Bledsoe (knee) injured and scoring 15.1 fantasy points over 29 minutes Monday against the Cavaliers. Expect him to play a significant role again Wednesday, leaving him with the chance to exceed his price tag.
Small Forward
Omri Casspi, SAC vs. PHI ($5,600): Casspi exploded for 36 points Monday against the Warriors and has become an extremely valuable player for the Kings, scoring at least 29.2 fantasy points in four of his last five games. Not only is he a good rebounder, but he also shoots well from behind the arc.
Chandler Parsons, DAL vs. GS ($5,300): Parsons returned to the starting lineup Monday against the Bucks and scored 27.8 fantasy points in 37 minutes. I really like this match up Wednesday against the Warriors, as this could be his type of game considering the Warriors propensity to play small.
Power Forward
Taj Gibson, CHI vs. IND ($4,800): Gibson has played heavy minutes with Joakim Noah (shoulder) out, recording at least 33 minutes in each of the last four games. He has come up big in those four games as well, scoring at least 25.2 fantasy points three times. The Bulls and Pacers always seem to battle it out, which fits right into Gibson's playing style.
Center
Ian Mahinmi, IND at CHI ($5,400): As mentioned with Gibson, this game is likely going to be a tough battle. With all of the size the Bulls have up front, the Pacers will need a big game from Mahinmi. He has scored at least 21.2 fantasy points in three of his last four games, and he could certainly provide the same kind of output Wednesday, which would be very solid for his price.
