FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

There are some great games that are a part of Wednesday's eight-game schedule in the NBA as the Clippers face the Hawks, the Spurs face the Rockets and the Warriors face the Mavericks. Let's try to add even more excitement to the evening by putting some money in your pocket on FanDuel. Here are some of the better value plays available for your squad.

Point Guard
Trey Burke, UTA vs. CHA ($4,700):
Fellow point guard Raul Neto is currently in the NBA's concussion protocol, making it unlikely that he will play Wednesday against the Hornets. Burke should see increased playing time as a result, even though he really struggled in his last game Monday against the Pistons when he failed to score a point. The price is right to give him a chance based on the opportunity he should be presented with in this game.

Archie Goodwin, PHO at CLE ($4,100): Goodwin was excellent Tuesday against the Sixers as he finished with 42.2 FanDuel points. By scoring 26 points Tuesday, Goodwin has now recorded three straight games with at least 20 points. The Suns continue to be decimated by injuries, leaving Goodwin with extra minutes. Don't over think this one, play Goodwin.

Shooting Guard
Zach LaVine, MIN vs. OKC ($4,200):
Kevin Martin (wrist) will not play in this game, meaning LaVine should see extra playing time. Martin missed the team's previous game Monday against the Cavaliers, which resulted in LaVine playing 30 minutes and posting 35.8 FanDuel point. This looks like a nice opportunity to get valuable production at a low cost by going with LaVine in your lineup.

Small Forward
Shabazz Muhammad, MIN vs. OKC ($4,200):
I tend to go with Muhammad a lot on FanDuel because he is always priced very low, but manages to put up useful statistics. He enters Wednesday's game against the Thunder by playing at least 27 minutes and posting at least 20 FanDuel points in each of his last four games. While you shouldn't expect him to have a very high ceiling, I just can't seem to pass him up at this price.

Power Forward
Josh Smith, HOU at SA ($4,000):
Smith has been a big addition for the Rockets and they have put him right into the fold as he has played at least 21 minutes in all three of his games with the team. Although he produced only 12.3 FanDuel points Monday against the Pelicans, he had recorded at least 25 FanDuel points in his first two games back with Houston. I think he's worth a shot at this price Wednesday.

Center
Spencer Hawes, CHA at UTA ($4,000):
Hawes has been thrust into an expanded role with Cody Zeller (shoulder) out of action and he has not disappointed by posting at least 24.5 FanDuel points in three straight games. Not only can he help stretch the floor offensively, but he has also grabbed at least seven rebounds in three straight games as well. Expect him to play significant minutes again Wednesday, making him a worthy FanDuel option.

Boban Marjanovic, SA vs. HOU ($3,700): I just can't get enough of this guy. When he plays, he produces as he has recorded at least 21.1 FanDuel points in each of the last four games where he played at least 13 minutes. Tim Duncan (knee) has been ruled out for this game, meaning Marjanovic should see extra minutes again. Marjanovic is the man I'm going with at center Wednesday at this discount price.
