FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday is a busy night in the NBA with 18 teams in action, including the Cavaliers, Spurs and Warriors. As such, there are a number of elite players to choose from when creating your FanDuel lineup, so let's look at some of the top options available to help win you some cash.

Guards

Damian Lillard, POR vs GS ($9,900): Lillard is not just one of the best point guards in the NBA, but he is also one of the most reliable guards when it comes to fantasy. He has recorded at least 54.8 FanDuel points in two of three games this season. What happened in the other game, you ask? He posted a measly 41.5 FanDuel points. If you are going to spend big bucks on a point guard, spend it on Lillard.

Zach LaVine, MIN vs MEM ($5,900): LaVine has averaged 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 35.5 minutes per game so far this season. He should continue to see extended playing time in this contest and be one of the major offensive factors for the Timberwolves. I think he has a high floor with a chance for a big game, making him a viable option at this price.

Tim Frazier, NO vs MIL ($5,500): Frazier blew up for at least 40.2 FanDuel points in each of his first two games, but only managed 18.3 FanDuel points in his last contest against the Spurs. I'd throw that performance out the window as the Spurs are not your average defensive team. He's going to see plenty of minutes in this game and is hard to pass up at this price.

Forwards

Kevin Durant, GS at POR ($9,800): Durant has been a DFS monster this season, posting at least 53.0 FanDuel points in all three games in which he's played. Not only is he an offensive machine, but he also has eight steals and five blocks so far on the season. He's one of the safest players to use Tuesday.

Gorgui Dieng, MIN vs MEM ($5,900): Dieng has played at least 34 minutes and posted a double-double in both games so far this season. He is going to have a significant role for the Timberwolves this season and his ability to protect the rim and rebound have already resulted in at least 35.6 FanDuel points in both games.

James Ennis, MEM at MIN ($4,400): Ennis is starting for the Grizzlies with Chandler Parsons (knee) out of action and has come through with at least 21.3 FanDuel points in each of his first three games. Although he doesn't provide much defensively, it's tough to argue with a player at this affordable of a price who is averaging 13.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Centers

Andre Drummond, DET vs NY ($8,400): Drummond is a great DFS player because his terrible free-throw percentage won't hurt you. Put that aside, and you get a player who is averaging 16.0 points, 16.3 points, 1.7 steals and 1.0 blocks per game this season. Joakim Noah is not the defensive powerhouse that he once was, so I expect Drummond to have a monster performance Tuesday.

Myles Turner, IND vs LAL ($7,100): Turner's breakout season is well underway, as he has recorded at least 31.2 FanDuel points in each of his first three games. He enters this game against the porous Lakers defense averaging 21.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game. I'm expecting Turner to explode in this one and he might be one of the best plays of the night, considering his price.

Dewayne Dedmon, SA vs UTA ($3,900): If you are looking for a dart throw Tuesday, Dedmon might be your man. Pau Gasol has really struggled defensively, paving the way for Dedmon to make his mark off the bench. He enters play Tuesday having recorded at least 20.1 FanDuel points in two of four games so far this season, and he could post similar production in this contest.
