FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday night brings six games in the NBA and while there aren't any truly enticing matchups, there are good teams in action as the Clippers, Cavaliers, Spurs and Rockets all play. That leaves plenty of intriguing decisions for your FanDuel lineup, so let's take a look at some different options across the price scale.

James Harden, HOU at UTA ($11,500): Harden has been an animal this season, averaging 53.5 FanDuel points per game. The Rockets' new offensive system fits him perfectly and his increased ball handling has led to a career-high average of 12.2 assists per game. He doesn't throw up many clunkers, so expect another big performance Tuesday.

Kyrie Irving, CLE at MIL ($7,600): Irving has had some big performances of late and has recorded at least 45.8 FanDuel points in two of his last four games. He's been pretty consistent overall, as he has failed to provide at least 30 FanDuel points in only two games this season. I think he's in for another valuable outing against the Bucks on Tuesday.

Matthew Dellavedova, MIL vs CLE ($4,100): Dellavedova squares off against his former squad, so that might be a bit of an extra motivating factor for him. While far from flashy, Dellavedova has provided at least 20.3 FanDuel points in five of his last six games. If you want to go cheap at point guard, Dellavedova is your man.

Anthony Davis, NO vs LAL ($12,000): Davis is going to cost you a ton Tuesday, but he has recorded at least 60.1 FanDuel points in four of his last six games. Although the Pelicans have played poorly, overall, this season, it's certainly not because Davis isn't pulling his weight. The Pelicans face the Lakers on Tuesday, a team against which Davis posted 49.6 FanDuel points earlier this season. I'm rolling with him again in this one.

Serge Ibaka, ORL at SA ($6,200): Ibaka has been on a roll of late, providing at least 31.3 FanDuel points in four of his last five games. While he doesn't provide massive offensive production, he is averaging 14.4 points per game this season. Combine that with averages of 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game and you get a solid producer at a mid-tier price. The Spurs are a tough matchup, but I'd still give Ibaka a shot.

David Lee, SA vs ORL ($3,900): Sometimes you just have to go with your gut when you try a cheap option and my gut is telling me to take a chance on Lee. He's had a couple of big performances of late, posting at least 27.3 FanDuel points in two of his last four games. My thinking is he'll be needed to do battle with all of Orlando's big men, so he might even see a few extra minutes. Lee is really cheap, so I'd give him a try if you are looking to save some money at power forward.

Andre Drummond, DET at CHA ($8,100): Drummond tops the price chart at center Tuesday as he is averaging 36.1 FanDuel points per game on the season. He's a walking double-double and is also averaging 1.7 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. There aren't a ton of elite center options out there Tuesday, but I expect Drummond to have a big game against a Hornets squad that can't really match up with him.

DeAndre Jordan, LAC at BKN ($6,700): Jordan has been on top of his game as he has posted at least 30.3 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. He is currently averaging 11.0 points and 12.1 rebounds per game, which puts him well on pace to average a double-double for the fourth consecutive season. The Nets likely won't offer much resistance on the glass in this one, so I'd expect Jordan to keep his recent hot streak alive.

Tristan Thompson, CLE at MIL ($5,000): Thompson's price is slowly creeping up, probably in large part because he has recorded at least 28.9 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. There is just no slowing him down on the glass as he is averaging 10.2 rebounds in only 29 minutes per game this season. The Bucks are a mess at center, so I think Thompson will be his usual steady self in this contest.
