FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

FanDuel NBA: Wednesday Value Plays

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Get ready for a busy night in the NBA on Wednesday, as there are 10 games on the schedule. There is a lot of elite talent to choose from when creating your FanDuel lineup as the Raptors, Clippers, Cavaliers, Rockets, Spurs and Thunder are all in action. Let's take a look at those options and some less expensive players that could also have big performances.

James Harden, HOU vs. SAC ($11,700): Harden had a strong performance earlier this season against the Kings as he was a rebound short of posting a triple-double. He continues to be one of the best DFS options this season and is averaging 52.9 FanDuel points per game. Look for another big performance Wednesday.

Wesley Matthews, DAL vs. DET ($5,800): Matthews is quietly on a tear as he has posted at least 33.8 FanDuel points in each of his last three games. The Mavericks are severely lacking in the talent department, leaving Matthews with a significant role in their offense. He has come through in a big way and is currently averaging a career-high 16.5 points per game. I like him at this price Wednesday.

Shelvin Mack, UTA vs. OKC ($4,000):George Hill (toe) has already been ruled out Wednesday and Dantè Exum (knee) is listed as questionable. I like Mack even if Exum does play, but he would be in for huge minutes if Exum can't take the floor. If you want to take a chance on a point guard who won't cost you much, Mack is your man.

Kawhi Leonard, SA vs. BOS ($8,300): Leonard has been excellent this season, averaging 39.5 FanDuel points per game. He has been even better than that of late, as he has recorded at least 41.1 FanDuel points in each of his last three games. Not only is he one of the best defenders in the league, he's also averaging a career-high 24.7 points per game this season. Look for him to shoulder a lot of the offensive load and put up a big game Wednesday against the Celtics.

Trevor Booker, BKN vs. LAL ($5,900): Booker has been one of the bigger surprises in the league this season as he is averaging career bests in points (10.7), rebounds (8.7), assists (2.4) and steals (2.0) per game. The Nets are going nowhere fast and don't really have any promising options waiting in the wings behind Booker, so look for him to continue to get a chance to shine. He has recorded at least 32.1 FanDuel points in three of his last four games and I can see a similar performance in line for Wednesday.

Ryan Anderson, HOU vs. SAC ($4,900): Anderson has been an extremely frustrating player to gauge this season. Everything appears to be lined up for him to excel, but he enters Wednesday averaging only 12.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. He has shown a bit of life lately, however, posting at least 26.1 FanDuel points in two of his last three games. I like this matchup for him against the Kings, though, and he's priced low enough that he's worth the risk if you need to save money at power forward.

DeMarcus Cousins, SAC at HOU ($11,500): Cousins is right there with Harden and Russell Westbrook as one of the elite DFS players this season as he is averaging 49.3 FanDuel points per game. It's hard to imagine him having anything but another big performance Wednesday against the Rockets.

Rudy Gobert, UTA vs. OKC ($7,600): I can't get enough of Gobert. Not only is he averaging 11.8 points, 11.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game, but he has increased his free-throw shooting to 67.5 percent. I don't know about you, but I love a center who works on his free-throw shooting instead of continuing to be a liability late in games. He has recorded at least 40.2 FanDuel points in each of his last four games and I think he will have another productive outing Wednesday against the Thunder.

Clint Capela, HOU vs. SAC ($5,600): Someone is going to have to try and guard Cousins and Capela is that man. He hasn't been impressive of late, but he did put up 32 FanDuel points when he faced the Kings earlier this season. While he is only averaging 25 minutes a game this season, he played 30 minutes in that contest. He's not a safe play by any means, but he might be worth a shot at this price.
