NBA Waiver Wire: Pickups of the Week

GUARDS

Matthew Dellavedova
Dellavedova has seen some recent run in place of Malcolm Brogdon (knee), but he's put together a nice stretch of productive outings since the calendar flipped to March. The 26-year-old is averaging 9.8 points, 4.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.2 three-pointers per game over the last five, and he has scored at least 10 points four times in the last six. Additionally, he's played no fewer than 23 minutes in the last 12 games, so his playing time is secure.

Jordan Crawford
The veteran has scored at least 10 points in three straight games since joining the Pelicans, and he has logged over 20 minutes off the bench in each. Crawford has brought an instant infusion of offense into the Pels' second unit and appears likely to score at least another 10-day contract when his current one is up.

Tony Snell
Snell looked like a candidate for a reduced role once Khris Middleton was back to a full allotment of minutes, but he's continued to play at least 30 minutes most nights. He's averaging 9.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.1 made three-pointers per game over the last 11, and he has scored at least 10 points in four straight. While he doesn't provide elite production in any one category, he's a solid addition at this point of the season in deeper formats.

While he doesn't provide elite production in any one category, he's a solid addition at this point of the season in deeper formats.

REVISTING:

Cameron Payne
We spotlighted Payne a month ago shortly before his trade to Chicago, and his relevance has only increased since the move. He is averaging 6.7 points, 1.6 assists, 1.4 rebounds and 1.4 made three-pointers per game in the seven outings since joining the Bulls, playing 15.6 minutes per game over that span. That stretch includes a pair of double-digit scoring efforts, and with the Bulls' point guard situation far from settled, Payne could be in for expanded opportunity in the stretch run.

FORWARDS

Luke Babbitt
Babbitt is holding down the starting power forward job for the Heat and has been reasonably productive, averaging 7.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game over the last five, along with a solid 2.4 made three-pointers, 52.2 percent shooting overall and 57.1 percent shooting from behind the arc. The 27-year-old has the ability to pile up some decent scoring numbers with modest usage due to his long-range marksmanship, and he can offer some serviceable returns on the glass as well.

Brandon Ingram
Ingram seems to finally be hitting his stride now that he has a sizable number of NBA games under his belt, and the Lakers' new regime headed by Magic Johnson seems intent on making sure he gets plenty of run. He's played no fewer than 35 minutes in six of the last seven games, scoring at least 10 points five times during that span. The second overall pick has averaged 12.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists on 50 percent shooting over the last six games, and he looks primed to see all the minutes he can handle for the rest of the season.

Skal Labissiere
We suggested keeping an eye on Labissiere a few weeks ago due to the potential opportunity he could see with DeMarcus Cousins no longer on the team, and the rookie has validated the suggestion in the seven games since. He's scored at least 10 points three times, pulled down double-digit rebounds in another, and at least five rebounds in five other games in that sample. The only dud within that stretch was a two-minute outing against the Jazz on Mar. 5; Labissiere has otherwise produced decent numbers in any game with at least 14 minutes. Considering his 7.9 points and 5.9 rebounds on 58.1 percent shooting since the All-Star break, the Kings figure to continue affording Labissiere some decent playing time.

Ersan Ilyasova
Ilyasova has settled in nicely in Atlanta despite a bench role, averaging 9.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 made three-pointers per game since the All-Star break, along with 49.1 percent shooting from the field and a 50.0 percent success rate from behind the arc. He's averaging 23.8 minutes off the bench, so he's receiving plenty of opportunities to provide his typically solid multi-category production.

REVISITING:

David Lee
We spotlighted Lee back on Jan. 21 and his name bears mentioning again considering that LaMarcus Aldridge has been ruled out indefinitely with a heart arrhythmia. Lee received the start on Saturday night and had 12 points, six rebounds and two assists over 18 minutes. He also provided solid returns earlier in the season while filling in for Pau Gasol at center, scoring at least 10 points in six consecutive games while also posting three double-doubles in a mid-to-late-January stretch. If Aldridge is out for any appreciable period of time, Lee is worth consideration off the wire.

Nemanja Bjelica
Bjelica has scored at least 10 points in five of his last six games, with three double-doubles over that span. The 29-year-old, who was suggested back on Feb. 19, is averaging a robust 25.8 minutes per game over that stretch, along with 9.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 made three-pointers, rendering him a viable option in deeper formats.

CENTERS

Meyers Leonard
Leonard has picked up his game since the All-Star break, averaging 7.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 made three-pointers per game on 55.2 percent shooting over the last six. He's averaging 16.8 minutes per game over that span and has been even a tad more productive over the last three thanks to a slight bump to 17.3 minutes. While he's going to have relatively limited playing time behind Jusuf Nurkic, Leonard can also fill in at power forward, and he serves as a decent option in deep formats for those looking for some scoring and rebounding help.

REVISITING:

Kosta Koufos
We first gave Koufos some pub back on Dec. 31, but a boost in usage since the DeMarcus Cousins trade has made him more relevant than ever. The veteran big man is sporting a solid 18.7 percent usage rate since the All-Star break, a boost of almost four percentage points. Koufos has scored at least 10 points five times, including four double-doubles, in the last seven games, and he is averaging 11.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game over the last five.

Nene Hilario
Nene was part of our Feb. 12 recommendations, and he's only gotten better in the subsequent stretch. The veteran center has scored at least 10 points in the eight games over that span, and has scored no fewer than eight in the other four contests. He's been putting in his typically solid work on the boards as well, as he has finished with between four and nine rebounds in six of the last eight.
