FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Picks

FanDuel NBA: Tuesday Picks

This article is part of our FanDuel NBA series.

Tuesday night brings eight games on the NBA schedule, highlighted by a matchup between the Warriors and the Rockets. While the rest of the schedule consists mostly of teams with losing records, there are still plenty of great options available…

John Wall, WAS at LAL ($10,200): Wall is coming off of a monster game Saturday against the Cavaliers where he scored 61.3 FanDuel points. Not only has he dished out at least eight assists in each of his last seven games, but he also has recorded at least two steals in three of his last four games. He gets to face a Lakers squad that's allowed the fourth most FanDuel points to opposing point guards, so look for another big performance.

Tyler Ulis, PHO at ATL ($6,000): Ulis continues to log a ton of playing time as he has played at least 40 minutes in five of his last six games. While he does put up the occasional dud, he has managed to score at least 34 FanDuel points in five of his last seven games. Tuesday brings a nice matchup as the Hawks have allowed the seventh most FanDuel points to opposing point guards this year.

Lou Williams, HOU vs. GS ($4,600): Williams played 31 minutes Sunday against the Thunder as the Rockets used some smaller lineups with Ryan Anderson (ankle) out of auction. He came through with 39.6 FanDuel points and could see similar playing time Tuesday with Anderson out again. The Warriors like to go small anyways, so this could be a fun guard battle.

Dario Saric, PHI at BKN ($7,300): Saric has struggled a bit lately as he has not scored more than 27 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. However, Tuesday brings a juicy matchup against the Nets who have allowed the second most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards. Saric can put up points in a hurry, so this could end up being a very productive evening against a bad team.

T.J. Warren, PHO at ATL ($6,400): Warren returned to action Sunday after missing two games due to injury and did not miss a beat as he scored 44 FanDuel points in 39 minutes. He had scored at least 33.7 FanDuel points in three of four games before sitting out, so he has shown the ability to produce on a Suns team that is resting several players down the stretch. Look for him to have another big role in this game and be a nice mid-tier priced option as a result.

Ersan Ilyasova, ATL vs. PHO ($4,800): Ilyasova has moved into the starting lineup with Paul Millsap (knee) out of action and has scored at least 24.8 FanDuel points in both of the last two games. While he hasn't been a major offensive weapon, he did grab an impressive 18 rebounds against the Nets on Sunday. He gets to face another bad team in the Suns, who have allowed the fourth most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards.

Hassan Whiteside, MIA at DET ($8,800): This should be a fun battle at center with Whiteside taking on Andre Drummond. Whiteside has provided steady production lately as he has scored at least 36.8 FanDuel points in each of his last nine games. While gathering rebounds against Drummond is no easy task, Whiteside's consistency makes him a valuable asset.

Jusuf Nurkic, POR vs. DEN ($6,700): Nurkic has really solidified the center position for Portland and has now scored at least 30.5 FanDuel points in each of his last seven games. Not only has he recorded a double-double in four of his last five games, but he has also dished out at least three assists in each of his last three games. The price is right to go with him again Tuesday against his former squad.

Clint Capela, HOU vs. GS ($5,500): He's not talked about much on a Rockets' team loaded with talent, but Capela has scored at least 26.7 FanDuel points in six of his last seven games. He doesn't need a lot of playing time to produce as he has averaged 12.3 points, 9.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in only 26 minutes over his last four games. If you are looking for a cheaper option at center Tuesday, Capela is an intriguing option.
